Contacts guides
One page per thing you do with a contact — what it changes, where it fails, and what it will not do for you. Every page has a plain Markdown version at the same address with .md on the end, for pasting into an AI assistant.
- The contacts list
One table of everyone who has ever messaged you, with the headings, sort and saved field setups you choose.
- Filter contacts and save a segment
Build a filter on any contact detail, watch the count change, then save it as a segment a broadcast can send to.
- Add, edit and merge a contact
Create somebody by hand, correct their details, and join two records that turn out to be the same person.
- Import contacts from a file, and export them
Upload a spreadsheet, match each heading to a contact detail, choose whether existing people are updated, and run it.
- Tags and lifecycle stages
A tag labels a person or a single conversation. A lifecycle stage says where that person is in your funnel.
- Everything you know about a contact
The panel beside a conversation and the full profile page show one record — details, notes, files, activity and calls.
- Marketing consent, and blocking a contact
A broadcast only reaches people who agreed to marketing. Blocking takes somebody out of your active inbox.
